I love this store. It’s my go-to for Middle East groceries. Buying fresh flat bread still warm from the oven is an absolute treat. Here I’ve been able to find all kinds of amazing provisions like figs, fresh dates, big barrels of olives, vine leaves, halva, plus fresh local butchered goat and lamb. They have a shawarma take out food bar too and I enjoyed delicious fresh cut chicken and beef flat bread wraps with tahini and garlic sauce and salad. Yum! There is a sign in the front door that says they sell camel milk. The owner is so friendly too. What an Amazing store!

I was incredibly impressed by the warmth and friendliness of the owner when I visited the store. They offer a wide variety of imported foods, sourced from various stores in Detroit. One must not miss out on trying their delicious baklava, OMGosh it’s to die for!!! It is truly a treat for the taste buds. The hot foods, specifically the meat and rice dishes, are both flavorful and freshly prepared. Additionally, their bakery bread is made fresh daily, adding an extra level of quality to their offerings. I am already looking forward to my next visit and would highly recommend this place to anyone!!!

Best Shawarma counter in the area. Chicken or beef samoon and wraps with peppers, olives, tahini, and drink for 10-$12. Best value meal lunch or dinner on the block.
